UFC president Dana White will not cancel fights after talking to Donald Trump

UFC president Dana White has announced his intention to proceed with upcoming fights at the urging of Donald Trump. White told ESPN he spoke with the President and Vice President, who told him to: ‘be careful, but live your life and stop panicking’ The UFC has a fight scheduled for Saturday night in Brazil, where fans will be prohibited from attending. Other events will be moved to a private studio A March 21 event scheduled for London will proceed as planned. “I talked to the President and the Vice President today about this, and they're taking this very serious,” White told ESPN's SportsCenter.  “They're saying be cautious, be careful, but live your life and stop panicking. Everybody is panicking and instead of panicking, we're actually getting out there and working with doctors and health officials and the government to figure out how we keep the sport safe and continue to put on events.” Source: Daily Mail
