UEFA RESPONDS on whether coronavirus could IMPACT on Liverpool - Atletico Madrid date?

UEFA have assured they are taking the coronavirus situation seriously and are monitoring the situation to take actions if necessary.  After the spread of Covid-19, several European countries have cancelled a vast amount of matches, while other leagues have decided to play behind closed doors.  Inter Milan, for example, have played their second leg of Europa League round of 32 against Ludogorets without fans.  And while there are concerns whether Champions League matches will be played as scheduled, UEFA have responded to the issue.  "UEFA takes the situation linked to the coronavirus very seriously.” UEFA spokesman told LiverpoolECHO. "We are closely monitoring the situation and are in contact with the World Health Organisation and national authorities regarding Covid-19 and its development. "UEFA is also monitoring decisions by local authorities that may have an impact on matches in its competitions. "And we are in contact with all clubs and national associations in relation to this."
