Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder purses revealed as both set for enormous payday

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder will finally meet again in one of the biggest heavyweight title fights in recent years. In December 2018, just six months after his comeback to the ring, Fury stepped up to face Wilder in a fight, which lasted 12 rounds.  In front of a crowd of 17,698 at the Staples Center, Wilder and Fury fought a split decision draw. Fury and Wilder are both going to pocket over $25m (£19.3m) from their rematch for Wilder’s WBC heavyweight title on Saturday night, according to ESPN. The Bronze Bomber and Gypsy King will be hoping the bout sells well on PPV to earn extra cash Only four boxing matches in history have sold two million pay-per-views, all of which involved Floyd Mayweather, so it would be some achievement, but Fury’s American promoter Bob Arum is confident. “I really believed when I found out early on, before we even had an announcement, how FOX and ESPN were gonna do this, that’s why I predicted two million,” said the veteran promoter.
