Two Liverpool stars convinced Klavan to leave the club
Ragnar Klavan has ended his part of Liverpool career and has joined Serie A side Cagliari.
Estonia international, who moved to Liverpool in 2016 from Augsburg, failed to become a player of starting lineup.
32-year-old defender has admitted two Liverpool stars including Alisson Becker and Mo Salah has convinced him to play for Serie A club.
“I had offers from several teams, including in other countries, but Cagliari really wanted me,” Klavan told Sky Italia (via Goal)
“Darijo Srna advised me to come here, as I talked to him via Dejan Lovren. Other Liverpool team-mates like Alisson, Salah and Lucas Leiva all spoke highly of Serie A.
“I’m certain we’ll do great things here and I’m really fired up. The city is wonderful and so are the fans. I can’t wait to get started.”
