Two Liverpool staff members tell Klopp to go and sign £35m star this summer

Liverpool staff members Andreas Kornmayer and Mona Nemmer have both urged Jurgen Klopp to sign Thiago Alcantara, according to the Independent. Kornmayer currently works as Liverpool’s head of conditioning, while Nemmer is the Red's head nutritionist. However, Liverpool are still unlikely to make a move for the central midfielder. They have tended to target younger players of late, and bringing in 29-year-old Thiago would require them to adjust their transfer policy. Liverpool are now said to have ‘knocked down’ talk that they will sign Thiago to the paper, which suggests that they are looking at other options. The Reds would have to pay £35 million to land Thiago this summer, according to AS. Source: HITC
