Two Liverpool players close to leaving before the transfer window closes

Liverpool are expected to let some players leave before the transfer window closes tonight. Youngsters Rhys Williams and Jake Cain are likely to make loan moves, with Swansea City and Newport County interested in their services respectively, according to The Atheltic.

  Journalist James Pearce claims Nat Phillips is also among the players possible to leave this summer, with the club expecting offers in the coming hours. However, if not receiving a suitable bid, the Reds will decide to keep the defender as a back-up and wait until January.
