Trent Alexander-Arnold's Liverpool absence explained as Jordan Henderson returns in Austria

Trent Alexander-Arnold has not traveled with Liverpool to Austria for the pre-season trip due to an injury, however, he is not thought to be a doubt for the Reds' Community Shield game against Arsenal on August 29. Jurgen Klopp and his side flew to Austria on Saturday, but Alexander-Arnold has remained at home on Merseyside. According to LiverpoolECHO, the defender has been given his own bespoke fitness regime to work towards as he aims to get back to full fitness this month. While, Alexander-Arnold stayed at home, Jordan Henderson has returned to training following the knee injury that ended his season at Brighton in July.
