Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has already turned his attention to Red Bull Salzburg although the clash is still two weeks away.
The 21-year-old defender wasn’t included in the starting XI of Jurgen Klopp’s side on Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Napoli, however, he was given a time play when substituted James Milner before the 2
nd half was over.
Speaking to Liverpool’s official website Alexander-Arnold has talked about the upcoming Champions League clash with Red Bull Salzburg:
“We know we’re a strong side who beat them at Anfield,” he said.
“We need to go there and get a result – and that’s what we’re going to hope to do. It’s something we need to be aiming for, reaching the latter stages and pushing on from there. For the club it’s massive and we know we’ve got a big game on our hands. Obviously we want to win as many games as possible and we weren’t able to do that. We’re still in a strong position in the group and we know we’ve got another game to secure our place in the latter stages. It’ll be a difficult test for us, but we’re in a solid place right now.”
The Reds’ next fixture will be against Brighton on Saturday in the frames of the Premier League.
