Tottenham's £16m offer for midfielder turned down by Flamengo

Tottenham have had a regular connection with the representatives of Flamengo midfielder Gerson, according to Goal. Spurs prepared to offer £16 million for the 23-year-old's signature. However, the Brazilian club have no intention of selling one of their star men. While the player himself appears to be intent on staying in his home country to continue his development under Jorge Jesus.
