Mark Hamill, Wolves

The Independent

Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, is a “mad” fan of Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Stars Wars actor has numerously liked tweets and post about the Molineux club and later clarified:

“Sports fans are more passionate than StarWars fans.

“This was the time I gained 6K+ followers by accidentally “liking” a tweet I thought was about an actual wolf.

“Now I’m a mad fan of Wolverhampton Wanderers – an actual team I had no idea even existed before!”

Sylvester Stallone, Everton

Liverpool Echo

Sylvester Stallone is an Everton fan thanks to his friendship with former club director Robert Earl and visited Goodison Park for a game in 2007.

The Hollywood icon said back then he wishes he had made an offer to purchase the club eight years ago.

“If I knew what I know now I’d have snapped it up,” Stallone told the Mirror.

“That was when football clubs were affordable but now it’s a billionaire’s game.

“I’d need to do one of these ads every day for the next 1,000 years…”

Joe Jonas, Tottenham

Joe Jonas is revealed to be a supporter of Spurs, as well. The pop star tried to shoot some penalties, before performing at the O2 Arena, alongside Jonas Brothers.

“I’ve been on a shoot for Quibi, a new platform, and the show is called Cup of Joe,” said Joe, while explaining his love for Spurs. ” Long story short, I travel the world but I don’t get to see the world, so this is my opportunity to get to know different cities and countries and this episode is London, so I got to hang out with Ledley King, talk about this team, the legacy and what football means to London and how important it is. I also got to go on the pitch and take a penalty, so a little pressure with an audience, but I had a good time!

“I love soccer. My first coach is here – my dad! I’ve always been a fan of soccer and married into a British family (Joe is married to English actress Sophie Turner, famed for her role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones), so I thought I’d get my allegiance, but they are rugby fans. I’m open for business! Maybe you guys will win me over!”

 Paul McCartney, Everton & Liverpool

Living legend Paul McCartney is happen to be both Everton and Liverpool fan. Yes, it’s possible! The Merseyside rivals have quite emotional fans, and no one could mess with them.

However, the Beatles icon supports both clubs of his hometown.

“Here’s the deal: my father was born in Everton, my family are officially Evertonians, so if it comes down to a derby match or an FA Cup final between the two, I would have to support Everton,” explained McCartney.

“But after a concert at Wembley Arena I got a bit of a friendship with Kenny Dalglish, who had been to the gig and I thought ‘You know what? I am just going to support them both because it’s all Liverpool and I don’t have that Catholic-Protestant thing.

“So I did have to get special dispensation from the Pope to do this but that’s it, too bad. I support them both. They are both great teams.

“But if it comes to the crunch, I’m Evertonian.”
