Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks has responded to the question about Mauricio Pochettino, claiming that he is forever grateful for him.
Reportedly, Spurs manager has talked to the club’s chairman Daniel Levy on his future and it is said 6 candidates were chosen to replace him, including Julian Nagelsmann, Jose Mourinho, Eddie Howe, Max Allegri, Carlo Ancelotti and Ralph Rangnick.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Winks has praised the Argentine manager saying:
“I’ve said many times. I’ve got all the time for the gaffer. I wouldn’t be where I am without him. Getting that opportunity is always difficult but I am forever grateful for him.”
Tottenham have endured a disappointing start to the season, after reaching to the Champions League final last term, having won just 3 of their 12 Premier League fixtures and currently holding the 14
th position in the Premier League standings.
