Tottenham stance on Harry Kane revealed amid Manchester United interest

Tottenham are reportedly confident of keeping Harry Kane at the club this summer despite ongoing uncertainty talks over his future. Both Manchester United and Manchester City are long-time admirers of Kane however, according to the Manchester Evening News Spurs will not consider selling Kane to a Premier League club. The 27-year-old is contracted with the Lilywhites until 2024, which has left Spurs feeling bullish about retaining their prized asset for at least one more season. It is also unlikely a club is prepared to invest a nine figure fee for a striker who will be 28 before the start of next season, especially when clubs are still reeling from the financial ramifications of the Covid-19 pandemic. The England captain, who's current on international duty, has been shining this season, having scored 27 goals and provided 16 assists in his 40 games for Jose Mourinho's side.
