Tottenham set to play Championship side in second friendly ahead of restart

Tottenham have organised a second friendly on Saturday as Spurs step up their preparations for their return to Premier League action against Manchester United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday week. Alasdair Gold has revealed Spurs are already set to play Premier League counterparts Norwich City on Friday before coming up against Championship outfit Reading 24 hours later – although the venue for either game hasn’t been confirmed. It will allow Jose Mourinho to use his full squad and gives crucial minutes to the likes of Paulo Gazzaniga, Davinson Sanchez and most notably, Giovani Lo Celso, who all missed Friday’s in-house training match at the new ground.
