Tottenham set to make a shock bid for £20m star

Tottenham are plotting a reckless swoop for Ainsley Maitland-Niles from arch-rivals Arsenal. Transfers between the two north London rivals are rare. Most notably was Sol Campbell’s switch from White Hart Lane to Highbury in 2001. Spurs are understood to be monitoring Maitland-Niles’ situation at the Emirates Stadium this summer as they look to bolster at right-back. The 22-year-old’s future is unclear at Arsenal. The Gunners would listen to offers in the region of £20million for Maitland-Niles.
