According to what has been reported by The Daily Telegraph, Tottenham are set to hand Eric Dier a new deal.
Jose Mourinho has been impressed with the Englishman’s performances since taking charge of the North London side.
Dier has been substituted in the first half of the Champions League group stage match against Olympiacos, but Mourinho has later apologised to him and told the media he is a key player for the team.
25-year-old midfielder’s versatility is the key factor for Mourinho to trust England national team player.
With the current deal expiring in 2021, Dier could become the second player in a week to sign a new deal with Spurs.
Toby Alderweireld is the latest player to put his signature under a new agreement with the club.
