Gareth Bale has handed Jose Mourinho an injury boost ahead of Tottenham’s game against Manchester City after the international break. Bale was replaced by Lucas Moura during Sunday’s 1-0 victory over West Brom and was spotted with ice strapped around his right ankle.
However, with international break now upon us, Bale is set to play some part in Wales’ upcoming fixtures. Wales will be playing a friendly game against the USA, as well as two Nations League games against Ireland and Finland.
And according to reports, Bale is unlikely to feature against USA, however he should be fit for the Nations League clashes.
Boost for Wales over Bale fitness as caretaker boss Robert Page says squad “unscathed” after losses of Ramsey + Cabango. Bale suffered weekend ankle knock, unlikely to feature in USA friendly on Thursday but should be fit for Nations League double-header.
