Cristian Romero might have suffered a knee injury, reports say.
On Thursday, Tottenham faced Pacos de Ferreira and lost with a score of 1-0.
According to Football London reporter Alasdair Gold, Romero was seen clutching his knee in the second half which could mean he injured his leg.
The defender made his debut with Spurs in Portugal, at UEFA Europa Conference League play-off first leg.
However, the defeat could get even worse if the newcomer's injury gets confirmed.
Reporter Gold claimed.
"Romero will also have to be looked at as he seemed to be in pain, holding his knee on a couple of separate occasions. That will have worried Espirito Santo who clearly has high hopes for the Argentine."
It's said that the Argentine joined Tottenham with an existing issue with his knee after playing for Argentina at Copa America.
