Tottenham next manager: Three possible replacements as Jose Mourinho is sacked

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has been sacked, as it was reported on Monday morning. Spurs got knocked out of the Europa League and FA Cup this season and are currently 7th in the Premier League with 54 points. Mourinho’s time in charge at Tottenham hasn’t gone as planned, it has to be said. And now "The Speacial One" has been sacked. So here are three candidates who can replace Mourinho at Tottenham. One of the best candidates, of course, is RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann. Nagelsmann worked wonders at Hoffenheim from 2013-19, taking the Bundesliga side into the Champions League. The 32-year-old has never spent more than £10million on a single player. Thus, Tottenham could be the ideal job for Nagelsmann, as he’s used to working on a tight budget. Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is on the line too. The Portuguese has been linked with the Arsenal job earlier this season. He knows Premier League well and may be tempted by a move to north London. Getafe manager Pepe Bordalas is the third possible candidate. The manager was appointed by the Spanish club in 2016 when they were in the second division. It took just three-and-a-half seasons for him to earn a promotion to La Liga. Bordalas never managed a larger club, but Spurs may decide to take a punt on the manager. In fact, he’s only spent a net £38million since his arrival in 2016. Source: Express Join us on Telegram!
