Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has revealed the main difference between club’s current and former managers Jose Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino.
Sissoko has featured in seven of the eight top flight matches to date this season and has formed an impressive midfield axis with Tanguy Ndombele and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The French international was brought to North London by Mauricio Pochettino and endured a tough start to life at Spurs following his switch from Newcastle United.
Speaking to Stadium Astro, Sissoko said:
“I will say, with Mourinho, you are more solid defensively and trying to play on the weaknesses of the opponent, and with Pochettino we were more playing with the ball, more offensive, maybe more creative.
“But at the same time, we were leaving a lot of space behind us and some teams could damage us when we were losing the ball.”
