Tottenham man got no future at Spurs as he's excluded from Antonio Conte's plans

Steven Bergwijn is believed to have no future at Tottenham Hotspur, as he's excluded from Antonio Conte’s plans. Speaking to Kick Off podcast, reporter Mike Verweij revealed that the winger could move to Ajax. Bergwijn was left on the bench against Everton, Leeds and Vitesse Arnhem before being ruled out of the 2-1 loss to NS Mura with an illness. And with reports state, that the Netherlands international could return to his homeland as Ajax are keen on a January swoop.
“Conte doesn’t see it in him at all,” said Vermeij, suggesting that the former PSV Eindhoven talisman has been left in the dark by his new boss.   “Conte is also the one who thwarted Bergwijn’s transfer from from PSV to Italy. Inter were interested at the time but Conte didn’t need him.   “Conte has only said two words to Bergwijn in two weeks at Tottenham Hotspur. That is why Ajax can consider him, but first Ajax will have to sell Neres.”
