Tottenham have reportedly contacted Benfica over signing Pizzi. The Portugal midfielder enjoyed an impressive 2019/20 season. He scored a whopping 30 goals and registered 17 assists from midfield.
A Bola claim Pizzi, who is valued at £18million, is on Tottenham’s wish list. Spurs are in talks with Benfica to see how much Pizzi is worth with an official bid yet to be made.
The 30-year-old could be a replacement for Inter Milan target Tanguy Ndombele, who failed to impress in his debut season after his club-record £55m move last summer.
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has already brought in Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Joe Hart this summer. Midfielder Hojbjerg signed for £20m from Southampton, while Hart arrived on a free transfer having left Burnley.
