Tottenham handed double injury setback ahead of Vitesse clash

Tottenham are set to face Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League on Thursday. Head coach Nuno Espirito will rotate his side for the clash but he will not be able to call upon the services of either Matt Doherty or Ryan Sessegnon. Speaking about the Lilywhites duo ahead of their trip to the Netherlands, he said to reporters, via the club’s official website:

“They are getting better. Unfortunately, they cannot join the group yet, but it’s a matter of time before we have good news.   “Like I’ve said, we’re going to need all the players. Unfortunately, Matt was injured on international duty, Sess, he’s out for a while, it’s going to take longer, but I’m positive that Matt can join us next week.”
