Tottenham force Jose Mourinho to settle on new striker after missing out on four targets

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has been unable to have his say in the club's pursuit in signing a new striker and he may settle on a loan move for Haris Seferovic, according to reports. Spurs have made no secret of their intention to sign a central forward. Mourinho doesn't want a repeat of next season when he took over as manager midway through the campaign with Harry Kane as the only recognised striker. He made it clear earlier this month that he expects a striker to be signed before the close of the transfer window. "Yes, I want and I need a striker, but I want to make it very clear, the club knows I need a striker and they also want a striker," he said. "Are we going to get one? I honestly believe so. For the balance of the team, the team needs it." Mourinho though doesn't have much say in who the club are trying to sign, according to Portuguese outlet Record. It is claimed the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss hasn't been able to enter the market for a striker as strongly as he would have liked.
