Tottenham chief Daniel Levy sent Jose Mourinho sack warning

Former Tottenham midfielder Gus Poyet believes his former club should not sack Jose Mourinho before their Carabao Cup final game against Manchester City. Mourinho's side lost their last three Premier League games. Defeat to Chelsea led the Portuguese to successive home league losses for the first time in his career as a manager. However, the former Uruguay international says it would be wrong to not allow Mourinho the chance to do that. "Talking about Jose, I think the main thing for Jose is he's already in a cup final," Poyet told Stadium Astro. "I think nothing will happen before that final. I don't want to think that he's under pressure because they want trophies, they're in a final, and there's still plenty of the season ahead. "So I think it's a slightly different situation with Frank Lampard, the amount of money that Chelsea spent in the summer. But you don't know what is going on internally, so to comment on that would be unfair to Jose. But definitely the cup final helps, because that's what they're looking for, trophies."
