Tottenham boss Mourinho wants five signings after Hojbjerg deal - but seven to be sold

Tottenham completed their first signing of the summer. The club confirmed that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg had joined the club from Southampton. An initial fee of £15million was paid by the north Londoners but that could rise to £19m with add-ons. Spurs also agreed to sell academy graduate Kyle Walker-Peters to Southampton for £12m. But there is plenty more transfer activity done at White Hart Lane this window. According to Football Insider, Mourinho wants five additions. First up Mourinho feels he needs a better back-up option for Hugo Lloris than current No 2 Paulo Gazzaniga. Secondly, the Portuguese manager wants an alternative to the striker to Harry Kane and Heung-min Son. A new right-back and centre-half are also thought to be on his wishlist. Finally, Spurs will apparently look to add another attacking midfielder. Moreover, Football Insider adds that all incomings must be met with player sales. Serge Aurier, Juan Foyth, Danny Rose and Cameron Carter-Vickers could also make move out of the club. Argentine international Erik Lamela is another listed as one who has been made available to help raise funds. The sixth to leave is Tanguy Ndombele. Source: express
