Tottenham backed to make "very Spursy signing" this summer

Darren Bent believes Schalke star Weston McKennie would be a "very Spursy signing" for Tottenham this summer. McKennie has impressed by his game despite his young age, attracting Jose Mourinho's side. According to the reports, the 21-year-old is set to make a move form his side due to the club's financial problems, and Spurs are likely to sign him for a cut-price deal of £20m. Speaking about the American professional, Bent revealed the player could be a real bargain for Tottenham. He said: “The money’s got to be right and at £20 million, you’d think it’s not that much, especially in today’s market. In today’s modern football and the transfer market, that’s not too much money, it’s very doable.”
