Talks between Tottenham and Inter Milan over a summer deal for Milan Skrinar have reportedly intensified. The 25-year-old has been linked to a few clubs this summer including Spurs’ Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United.
The centre-back has been a first-team regular for Inter this season but has recently fallen out of favour with Antonio Conte, starting just once in the past five games.
According to Tuttosport, via
Sport Witness, Skrinar ‘could be sacrificed’ if Inter got a player in return. There has reportedly been some interest from the Serie A club in Tanguy Ndombele but a deal is nowhere close to being done.
Spurs are in the market for defensive reinforcements following Jan Vertonghen’s departure at the end of his contract.
Skrinar joined Inter from Sampdoria in 2017 and has played 127 times during his three years at the club.
