Toto Wolff believes Ferrari’s advantage isn’t too serious

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff says Ferrari aren’t too far away from them after Friday practice of Bahrain Grand-Prix. Charles Leclerc has finished first in the first practice, while Sebastian Vettel finished second, ahead of Mercedes pilots Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton respectively. Second practice results 1. Sebastian Vettel - Scuderia Ferrari 1m28.846s 2. Charles Leclerc - Scuderia Ferrari + 0.035s 3. Lewis Hamilton - Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport + 0.603s 4. Valtteri Bottas - Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport + 0.711s Wolff admits, that Ferrari have ‘a tiny edge’ for this moment, but they are going to return back during the qualifying rounds. He also admits that Ferrari are totally different compared to Australian Grand-Prix, where the dominance of Mercedes was too obvious. “You can see enormous straight-line power from the Ferrari on the straight. It’s where they are making all the gains. Definitely a different Ferrari to what we saw in Melbourne.” Wolff told Sky (via Racefans).
