"Top player": Solskjaer hails Manchester United ace who enjoyed 110 touches against Wolves

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hailed new signing Bruno Fernandes after his impressive performance on debut. Fernandes joined the Red Devils in the final week of the January transfer window for a reported £47m from Portuguese side Sporting CP. The player made his debut for United on Saturday, in a 0-0 draw with Wolves. Solskjaer said: “Bruno is a top player. It’s the first game. The first half, everyone was getting the ball into feet and Bruno is one of those who, when he gets it into feet, he wants players moving in front of him and we didn’t. He’ll be a top addition.” As per Sofascore, the 25-year-old’s 110 touches over the course of the 90 minutes was only behind Aaron Wan-Bissaka (119), whilst he led the team with the most number of attempts on goal (5).
