Manchester United comleted the signing of Brazil’s Fred on a five-year deal. The 25-year-old joined from Shakhtar Donetsk for a reported £52m.
Fred was a peripheral figure under Jose Mourinho in the first half of the season and it has been a similar story under Solskjaer. The Brazilian has only started five games out of 19 under the new boss. However, he showed an improved performance in the 3-1 win over PSG earlier this month which could serve as a turning point.
