Liverpool have kicked-off their Premier League season with a winning run as currently the Reds are leading the league table with maximum points.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have scored overall 20 goals in the Premier League and 4 in the Champions League, so far during this season.
So let’s take a look and see who have been the top scorers for the Reds so far.
Virgil van Dijk
Van Dijk has scored only one goal so far this season in the Premier League game against Norwich City. And his assist came in the Community Shield game against Manchester City.
Robertson has also made 12 appearances during this season and has scored one goal but unlike Van Dijk, he has provided 2 assists.
Alexander-Arnold’s goal came in the Premier League game against Chelsea.
Wijnaldum has made 12 appearances so far for the Reds and he has scored in the Premier League game against Sheffield United.
Matip has made 9 appearances so far as he was left out of the squad in the games against Red Bull Salzburg and Leicester City due to an injury and he was left on the bench in Liverpool’s Premier League opener against Norwich City.
The central midfielder has scored one goal in the Premier League game against Leicester City and his second goal came in the Carabao Cup game against MK Dons.
Firmino has played 988 minutes overall during this season. The centre-forward’s all three goals came in the Premier League games against Southampton, Burnley and Chelsea.
Salah overall played 1099 minutes so far for Liverpool. Two of his goals came in the Champions League (a double against Salzburg) and others came in the Premier League games.
Mane has played 892 minutes for the Reds so far. His one goal came in the Champions League game against Salzburg, two goals were against Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup, which Liverpool won on penalties. The rest of the goals were scored during Premier League games.
