Pep Guardiola will definitely go down in history as one of the best football managers ever. Replacing such a legend would be beyond difficult.
Guardiola's current contract at Manchester City expires in the summer of 2025. The Catalan has had amazing years of success with the Cityzens and it might be unlikely for them to not extend Guardiola's stay for many more years.
However, no one knows what can happen, and with the most difficult task of replacing Guardiola, City would have so much to think about.

The Argentinian successfully coached Tottenham for five years and led them to the Champions League final. He also won the Ligue 1 title with PSG during the 2021/22 season.
Pochettino is very familiar with the Premier League football and could make it into the City's shortlist for ever replacing Guardiola.
2. Julian Nagelsmann

Bayern Munich's manager has impressed the football world with his success at RB Leipzig at such a young age. He is just 34.
Nagelsmann's successful spell earned him a job at Bayern Munich.
So for replacing Guardiola, the German could be a good choice, also taking into account the fact that they both managed Bayern.

The Spaniard knows almost everything a coach needs to know in order to manage City. Arteta had quite a rough time at Arsenal, however, things seem to fall into their place as he managed to bring the Gunners back to their winning ways.
More years at Arsenal could make Arteta a perfect replacement for Guardiola at City.
