So here is the list of the ten most valuable youngsters, ranked by the Transfermarkt.
10 Marcus Rashford, €64m
Manchester United forward is one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s finest talents, and has become a key player, despite his young age.
The 22-year-old is a United Academy graduate, and has a contract with the club until 2023.
This season Rashford has made 31 appearances for the Red Devils, has netted 19 goals and provided 5 assists.
9 Lautaro Martinez, €64m
The 22-year-old forward made a move to Inter Milan back in 2018 from Argentine side Racing club for €25m.
This term Martinez has featured in 31 matches for Nerazzurri, scoring excellent 16 goals and assissting 4 times.
Youngster’s current contract with the Serie A club is set to expire in 2023.
8 Matthijs de Ligt, €67.5m
De Ligt has been an Ajax Academy graduate, however, left the club for Juventus in the summer of 2019.
Since then, the 20-year-old centre-back has made 27 appearances for La Vecchia Signora, and event netted twice.
De Ligt is contracted with the club until 2024.
