CIES Football Observatory has provided the list of top 10 most expensive football players in the world. And four of the five most expensive players in the world are English.
Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford (€152.3 million), Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold (€171.1 million), Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho (€179.1 million) and Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling (€194.7 million) are among those players.
The most expensive player in the world is Kylian Mbappe, his estimated transfer value is €259.2 million despite the crises caused by Coronavirus. Lionel Messi, 33, is 21st with €100.1 million value, while his biggest rival Cristiano Ronaldo is 70th with €62.8 million. Moreover, Ronaldo is the oldest player in the top 100 list.
