Every season, all football players in the Premier League are doing all in their might to score more goals and the reason not only to help their clubs.  Players want to clinch individual titles and one of the most famous titles is the Premier League Golden Boot award.

Last season Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shared the award after they scored 22 goals.

In 12 games this season, Premier League clubs have scored 340 goals in total.  Twenty-five players have scored more than three goals but there are only 10 who scored more than five.

Here are TOP 10 Premier League players, who are big contenders for the award.

Harry Kane

Last season Tottenham Hotspur captain scored 17 goals in his 28 appearances. However, this season has not started so well for the England international. Kane has scored just six goals and created only one assist in his 985 minutes and 11 appearances for the Spurs. The stat means that Kane scored a goal in every 164 minutes.

Teemu Pukki

Premier League newcomer Norwich City had a surprise for all the strikers as their star Teemu Pukki has joined the race of Top Scorers. Despite Norwich are in the last place of the Premier League table, the Finland international has scored six goals and created two assists in his 1067 minutes for the club. The Finland international has scored a goal in every 178 minutes.
