"Too much quality": Paul Merson states his prediction for Liverpool v Southampton

Paul Merson has given his prediction for the upcoming Premier League match between Liverpool and Southampton. The Reds are currently 3rd in the league table four points behind the leaders Chelsea. Meanwhile, the Saints are in 13th position. Ahead of the game, Merson has shared his thoughts, backing Jurgen Klopp's side to celebrate another win in the domestic competition.

“I don’t see Southampton being able to live with Liverpool this weekend,” the pundit said (via Metro UK).

"Jurgen Klopp had a bit of a blip against West Ham, but his side came back strongly with a comfortable 4-0 victory against an in-form Arsenal side last week.

"Liverpool have far too much quality for a Southampton side that failed to get the better of Norwich in their previous game.

"Klopp should be able to guide his team to another comprehensive victory this weekend."
