Rafael Nadal’s uncle and former coach Toni Nadal in an interview to Diario Vasco is back to speak about his sayings indicating that Roger Federer is unlikely to win a Grand Slam in 2019.
“It seems difficult to me that Federer will lift another Grand Slam trophy. I do not obviously say it because of his game, but for the toughness of best of five sets matches’, Toni wrote in a column for El Paris.
Toni explained his words.
“I was saying that, with all my respect, at 38 years of age it will be difficult to win a tournament at best of five sets matches.”
“He will have some chances at Wimbledon, but every year it's tougher. The same happens with Rafael.”
