Tolisso speaks out on Ribery’s reaction for France national team WC-2018 triumph

Bayern Munich star Corentin Tolisso says Franck Ribery is proud for France national team, despite having no relationship with latest World Cup triumph.

Didier Deschamp’s side has won the trophy for the second time in history after beating Croatia in final match in Moscow.

Ribery was a key player during World Cup 2006, when France reached to final. During World Cup 2018 Franck was disqualified after the conflict with head coach Raymond Domenech. He announced about retiring from international football for personal reasons before World Cup 2014.

[Ribery] congratulated me, of course,” Tolisso told France Football (via Goal).

“Even if the relationship between Franck and France is complicated, he was happy for me, for us.

“He is a good person and he was very proud of the France team.” he added.
