Three reasons why Liverpool will humble Arsenal on Saturday

  1. A Mighty Red Wall
The Premier League current leaders Liverpool are on their halfway to win the title having conceded just seven goals to to now. The Reds are on course to break the record for fewest goals conceded in Premier League after 14 years since Jose Mourinho’s campaign in 2004/05 as Chelsea boss. Liverpool have such stars their squad as Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Alisson Becker, who have been among the bests in Europe.
  1. Misfiring Gunners
Liverpool were coming off the back of draws against Manchester City and Chelsea in the league and disappointing losses against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and Napoli in the Champions League. The Reds were still good but they were not as imposing as they are now. Arsenal on the other hand were in the middle of an unbeaten run. That game played out to a draw as Liverpool failed to impose themselves. Arsenal have two wins, two draws and two losses in their last six domestic games. They beat Huddersfield (20th) and Burnley (18th), drew with Manchester United (6th) and Brighton & Hove Albion (13th) and lost to Spurs (2nd) in the League Cup and Southampton (16th).
  1. Impenetrable Anfield
The lights of Anfield can do magic. The stadium is famous for its atmosphere and the air. The Reds have dropped just two points at Anfield  – to City – this Premier League season. They also have three Champions League victories at home. The return of Laurent Koscielny to the side after a long-term injury has coincided with some terrible defensive displays. Now Ings’ ex-teammates will have the chance to tear open this poor Arsenal defense and humble the Gunners before the huge clash with Manchester City next Thursday.
