Three Manchester City youngsters set for big chances vs Burnley

Three Manchester City youngsters set for big chances against Burnley, according to MEN. Pep Guardiola has blooded plenty of young players in his four-and-a-bit seasons. Liam Delap’s goalscoring debut against Bournemouth last week saw him on the bench against Leicester – and at 1-1 Guardiola threw him on for Fernandinho. Delap is pencilled in to start at Turf Moor. Aymeric Laporte was on the bench against Leicester, which means he is likely to start at Burnley. Meanwhile, Oleksandr Zinchenko started the season as third-choice left-back after Joao Cancelo’s decent displays in the role at the end of last season. Zinchenko is in line for a return to action after recovering from injury. Guardiola played six of the seven substitutes from the win at Wolves. He is likely to follow the same route. That would mean a debut for 18-year-old Cole Palmer. And Tommy Doyle, after signing a new five-year deal, can play his way into Guardiola’s thinking for bigger games ahead.
