Thomas Tuchel suggests Chelsea man could play in new position in London derby

Thomas Tuchel has said that Saul Niguez could switch positions for Chelsea against West Ham this afternoon. The Spaniard, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan, has really struggled to make an impact for the Blues. Saul has only made 2 Premier League starts for the team, but he may have a completely different role against the Hammers. Speaking to Football.London, Tuchel hinted that the 27-year-old coud play at left wing-back after Ben Chilwell was ruled out for the long-term.
“I think that he could play in a wingback role for us. Even if we play in a dominant game, an offensive game because he is very strong in arriving in the opponents’ box.    "Very strong in finishing, he has good timing to arrive at the second post for the header.   "He sometimes does this in training which is why we think he could be a good fit and maybe in the next games we have to try because Chilly is out long-term and a lot of games are coming and we maybe cannot put every game on Marcos’ shoulders.”
If the Spain international starts at left wing-back he could be somehow very dangerous for the Irons.   Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
