N'Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy are both fit to start the Champions League final against Manchester City on Saturday, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed. Kante missed last weekend's defeat to Aston Villa with a hamstring problem sustained on May 18. Mendy, meanwhile, was taken off at halftime of the game at Villa Park. Tuchel said he expected both to return to training before the Blues squad flew out to Portugal. When asked about the latest team news in his pre-match press conference, the Chelsea head coach gave a short but ideal reply: "[It's the] best news ever, no injuries. I hope it stays like this after training today." Chelsea's players will train on the Estadio do Dragao pitch this evening ahead of tomorrow's game.
