Thomas Tuchel has provided an injury update on Christian Pulisic following the Blues 5-2 defeat to West Brom. Pulisic started the game from the first minutes and opened the score at the 27th minute, however, he was substituted at half-time.
Pulisic felt discomfort in his hamstring during the half-time but planned to continue, however, ahead of the second half, the American was unable to continue.
“He was injured, he had to go off because of a hamstring injury,” Tuchel confirmed after the game.
“I hope it’s not too bad. In the beginning, he said he could continue but once he got back out on the field he felt that it was too much and that he couldn’t risk it. I hope it is not an injury, just a problem.”
