Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller offered response to Joachim Low after Germany boss’ latest response to the suggestion he could make an international return.
Low snubbed Muller in March last year, along with Mats Hummels and Jerome Boateng.
Speaking ahead of the game, Low was asked whether he could reconsider his position on Muller and recall him with Euro 2020 upcoming.
However, he insisted:
"The probability [of a recall] is relatively low if everyone is fit. Thomas has scored a few times in the second half of the season. I am pleased, but I said we would go with the young players. That is what we have to maintain. However, if things should happen that you do not expect, it is clear you will have to look again.”
Muller made his own pointed declaration: "
I'm not interested in it at all. I care about this team [Bayern] and winning trophies with them, ideally three.”
