"This is just getting stupid", "Sick of him": Liverpool man slammed for his recent form

LFC Daytrippers host Gav Doyle has been discussing Liverpool's Joel Matip, following the club's 2 - 1 win over Sheffield United at the weekend. In the last 11 months, Reds defender has played just 165 minutes of Premier League football. He has also been out of action for Saturday's Premier League clash, after picking up an injury during the Merseyside derby with Everton. Moreover, Jurgen Klopp's side were playing without Virgil van Dijk, while the partnership of Fabinho and Joe Gomez led the club to a penalty caused by the Brazilian’s foul. Speaking about Matip's latest absence for Sheffield clash, Doyle has shared his frustration, saying: “If I’m Jurgen Klopp, I’m just sick of Matip now, sick of him. He plays the derby last season, he doesn’t play until the derby this season and then he can’t play. This is just getting stupid at this stage.”
