Thierry Henry facing competition from former Arsenal midfielder for Bordeaux job

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is in competition with Laurent Blanc and Remi Garde for the Bordeaux job. Bordeaux are seeking a high-profile appointment with the club being sold to US investment fund General American Capital Partners (GACP) next month for €100m (£89m). Both current owners M6 and GACP have to agree on the new coach. Bordeaux have drawn up a short-list but Jurgen Klinsmann and Claudio Ranieri are not candidates, according to L’Equipe.
