Thiago Silva has revealed that Chelsea manager Frank Lampard sent him a picture of them shaking hands as players before he joined the Blues. Silva was one of the several summer signings that Lampard's side made as the Brazilian joined Chelsea on a free transfer. "When I was about to sign with Chelsea, when I said ok, he sent me a message with a photo of us shaking hands as captains at the Maracana, in the friendly between Brazil and England," said Thiago Silva. "It was a big surprise for me, because I didn’t remember that game. "I certainly didn’t hesitate to be coached by him.
