"They tell me": Harry Redknapp shares what he's been told about Cristian Romero and Tottenham

Harry Redknapp has revealed he has been told that Cristian Romero is a ‘very good player’. Amid the talks surrounding Harry Kane and his possible exit, Tottenham are closing on signing Atalanta defender after a bid was accepted. Redknapp shared his thoughts on the Spurs' new Sporting Director, Fabio Paratici and Romero, who could be on his way to the North London club. “They have got a new Sporting Director that’s going to be responsible for bringing the players in,” Redknapp told talkSPORT (03/08/21 at 7:40 am). “It looks like he’s going to go into the Italian market. That’s the market he probably knows. “It looks like they are trying to get the boy from Atalanta, the centre-back, they tell me he’s a very good player. A few people have said that he’s ‘very good’.”
