Tottenham are still hoping to spring a "surprise" and appoint a new boss before the European Championships, according to Fabrizio Romano.

on Chris Cowlin’s Youtube channel, the sports journalist has given an update, claiming Spurs are still optimistic that they may be able to get a new manager before the end of the week.
“It was Conte, they were convinced to with Conte – but now the situation is complicated,” Romano said.
“But let’s see! I still think they hope to make a surprise and appoint a manager in the next days and complete everything before the Euro’s but it’s getting complicated.
“To give you some confidence, trust me – Fabio Paratici is like a new signing. Daniel Levy did something great with Paratici. He is an amazing director.”
