Rangers are likely to face UEFA sanctions after bottle was thrown at Bayern Leverkusen players.
The Gers defeat 3-1 to Bayern Leverkusen in their last-16 first-leg game.
As the German team celebrated Leon Bailey’s 88th-minute goal, a glass bottle was thrown from a section housing Rangers supporters in the direction of the players.
French forward Moussa Diaby picked up the bottle after the event.
According to
The Scotsman, the bottle incident is unlikely to be glossed over by UEFA delegates and, given previous behaviour, Rangers will likely be braced for a hefty punishment.
